I have gambled on countless of rounds of chemin de fer. I started sneaking into the gambling dens when I was sixteen. I have gambled on online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. Given all that I have still lost all kinds of money at vingt-et-un. The gambling halls have made it very hard to beat the game.
I still enjoy the game and bet on a frequent basis. Over the years I have played a variation of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get loaded with this tactic or defeat the house, still you will have a lot of fun. This method is based on the fact that blackjack appears to be a game of streaks. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I don’t win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I lose again I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. Whenever I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the wager back down to the original value.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets very exciting at times. If you win a few hands in series your bets go up very fast. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome runs a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Wynn a couple of years back with $750 after 30 minutes using this method! And a number of days ago in Atlantic City I left a game with $1200!
You need to understand that you can say good-bye to a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be astonished at the runs you witness playing this way. Here is a guide of what you would bet if you continue winning at a $5 table.
Wager five dollar
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the initial five dollar bet
Wager five dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total bet of 10 dollar

If you departed at this instance you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is herculean to go on a run this long, but it often happen. And when it does you must NOT alter and drop your bet or the end result won’t be the same.
