I have gambled on millions of hands of vingt-et-un. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was 16. I have bet on online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. Given all that I have still spent all kinds of money at vingt-et-un. The gambling dens have made it very hard to defeat the casino.

I still like the game and bet on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have bet on a type of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get rich with this method or defeat the house, however you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is built on the idea that 21 appears to be a game of runs. When you are on fire your hot, and when you are not you’re NOT!

I play basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I lose I wager the table minimum on the next hand. If I lose again I wager the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Once I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the wager back down to the original value.

I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets extremely exciting sometimes. If you win a few hands in series your wagers go up very fast. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had awesome runs a few times now. I left a $5 table at the Wynn a number of years ago with $750 after 35 minutes using this technique! And a number of days ago in Sin City I left a game with $1200!

You have to understand that you can relinquish much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be aghast at the runs you see betting this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you kept winning at a five dollar table.

Wager $5
Take $5 paid to you, leave the original 5 dollar bet

Wager 5 dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total wager of ten dollar

Bet 10 dollar
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the initial $10 bet

Wager $10
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total wager of $20

Wager twenty dollar
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $20 wager

Wager $20
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 40 dollar

Bet 40 dollar
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the first 40 dollar wager

Wager $40
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $80

Bet $80
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the first eighty dollar wager

Bet $80
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total wager of $160

Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the original $160 wager

If you left at this point you would be up $315 !!

It’s hard to go on a streak this long, but it can happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and drop your bet or the final result will not be the same.
